Textile Manipulations

Welcome to my world of Textile Manipulation! I create unique designs with the medium of textiles, experimenting with various techniques and elements to help tell the stories of my collections. I'm fascinated by the illusion of different fabric textures, like making a soft fabric appear stiff or making a hard metal chain look watery and flowy. I work with embroidery, knitting/crocheting, painting and experimenting with designs. Explore my manipulations and read more about my creation process.

S/S 2022 plastic bags cut into stripes and then knotted together to create yarn. the plastic yarn is then crocheted into flowers
