Being of mixed parentage you are almost forced to choose one side, one country, one culture in order to be considered a part of the 'real' community. You have to confine to the standard, the accent, the style because if not you are guaranteed to feel like you don't really belong.

​'Rosaline' is German, Spanish and Cuban she does not listen to these norms of identifying with only one culture and ranges to break down the walls she has been punt in between. She is a modern, international, globalised woman, equally part and in touch with all three cultures, and rightfully so. Rosaline is the future, she represents the globalising world that is under our feet, and she is the new normal.
